Takiya Green
Takiya Green is a nonprofit strategist and fund development leader with more than 15 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their operational foundation, expand their impact, and secure sustainable funding. She has supported organizations across sectors, including education, workforce development, environmental justice, arts and culture, mental health, and youth development, and has helped clients collectively secure more than $70 million in grant and philanthropic funding.
Takiya specializes in guiding organizations through the complexities of fund development, from grant readiness and strategic positioning to infrastructure building and long-term sustainability planning. Her approach is collaborative, capacity-focused, and grounded in the belief that strong internal systems create stronger, more resilient communities.
In addition to her consulting work, Takiya is deeply committed to service and leadership development in her local community. She mentors students at Ansonia Middle School and facilitates professional development programming at Ansonia High School, supporting young people in building confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of agency. She is also an active member of the Grant Professionals Association, staying connected to sector best practices and advocacy efforts that advance equitable funding access.
Takiya holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Southern New Hampshire University, where she graduated magna cum laude. Her work is fueled by a belief in community, collaboration, and the power of mission-driven organizations to create lasting change.
