In the face of unprecedented challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Divine Writing & Consulting Solutions (DWCS) stepped in to support arts organizations. We secured a $50,000 grant from the Connecticut Office of the Arts to provide crucial operational support, ensuring the survival and sustainability of arts organizations like The Shubert Theatre during these difficult times.
Collaborating closely with the Connecticut Office of the Arts, we identified the immediate needs of the arts sector. Our strategy focused on creating a proposal that highlighted the essential need for operational funding to keep programs running, retain staff, and maintain community engagement during a period of significant uncertainty.
The grant provided essential support to arts organizations, enabling them to continue their operations, adapt to new programming formats, and keep serving their communities amidst the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic.
