What services does DSS offer?

We provide organizational planning, capacity building, fund development strategy, program evaluation support, and partnership strategy to nonprofits, community-based organizations, and municipal entities.

How long do your engagements usually last?

Engagements vary depending on scope, from 3-month foundational planning projects to 12+ months for deep organizational transformation. We recommend starting with a Discovery Call to determine the right fit.

How are your fees structured?

We work primarily on flat-rate or retainer-based pricing depending on the project scope. We do not work on contingency or percentage-of-grant fees, in line with Grant Professionals Association ethical guidelines. (you already have part of this)

Do you provide grant writing services?

Yes, we provide grant writing as part of broader fund development services, typically integrated within a long-term funding strategy, not as standalone transactional work.

Can DSS support newly forming organizations?

Yes. If the organization is past concept and ready to work on mission clarity, governance structures, basic budgeting, and team readiness. For organizations very early in formation, we may recommend foundational coaching partners first. (you already have similar content — keep short)

Do you offer workshops or training?

Yes. Occasionally, we offer tailored workshops on strategic planning, board alignment, or evaluation frameworks. Workshop availability can be discussed during Discovery Calls.

Do you offer pro bono or reduced cost services?

While DSS primarily works on a fee-for-service model, we sometimes support organizations through strategic partnerships or discounted programs aligned with equity goals. Please inquire during your Discovery Call.
